It's crazy to think that we're already nearing the end of Q1 in 2017. TIS saw its biggest and best year in 2016, and even more exciting things are already happening in the new year. We've been busy bees over here on Diamond and Wealthy, and most importantly—have all been thoroughly enjoying the projects we're working on for some stellar clients.
Want a glimpse into recent happenings at TIS? Here're five of our favorite projects we're cranking out thus far in 2017.
Team TIS was introduced to Maggie Conklin, owner of Lady Hawk Nutrition in Douglas, MI, at the end of 2016 with Maggie's vision of opening her own school of herbalism and naturopathy with her friend and mentor, Darryl Patton. We worked with Maggie and Darryl with their vision from the very first stages of the branding process for Heirloom Academy of Healing Arts (HAHA)—messaging, positioning, naming, logo, etc.—and just officially launched HAHA's beautiful new website!
Whether you're simply interested in expanding your knowledge of herbs to improve your family's health, you desire to become a Doctor of Naturopathy, or just want to take a class or two on a special topic, HAHA is an excellent resource.
When we heard the news about our long-standing client Essence Restaurant Group's plans to open a second location of The Green Well in Rockford, we were pretty darn pumped, to say the least! The Green Well is one of our favorite spots to drink and dine in GR (yes, that's an unbiased opinion!), and was one of our favorite branding projects when The Green Well first opened 10 years ago.
Although the process with The Green Well Rockford has only just begun, we're looking forward to designing the building's signage, print materials and other branded collateral over the next couple months. Follow The Green Well on Facebook and Twitter for updates on the Rockford location!
The TIS team was stoked to have the opportunity to work on a new website for Festival of the Arts, an annual Grand Rapids event celebrating West Michigan arts and artists over the last 40+ years. FOTA's new website features simple navigation to apply to perform, become an event sponsor, volunteer, or donate, and also beautifully displays photography from past events.
We clearly love designing and developing websites at TIS, and we especially enjoyed working on Universal Traffic Service's updated site over the last couple months. One of the biggest challenges with this site was explaining UTS's Best Value Carrier ranking methodology—their unique process for determining the most reliable carrier based on your company's shipping needs—in the most understandable way possible. We achieved that goal by creating an interactive infographic—comprised of hand-drawn icons—that demonstrates UTS's process of choosing the best value carrier.
Last but most definitely not least, we recently gave TIS a facelift with a full rebrand, from updated positioning and messaging, to logo, color palette, signage, and businesses cards. With these changes launching at the end of 2016, we're now moving on to Phase 2 of our rebrand with apparel design and a fresh website coming soon. We're getting our booties into gear over the next couple months to create a killer, client-focused website that demonstrates our true commitment to being an ally for our people, community and planet.
