We’re Feelin’ Spooky! Team TIS’s Favorite Halloween Movies

Ooooo, it's gettin' spooky around these parts! We may or may not be running around last-minute to get our costumes and decorations ready to go for this haunted holiday, but at least there's one thing we can always make time for—Halloween movies!

We'll be sure to carve a couple hours out of our busy schedules to plop down on the couch with a bowl of our favorite candy and throw on our favorite Halloween horror flick. Can you guess who's watching what this weekend? Check it below.

Aaron: The Crow

Synopsis: A man brutally murdered comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancée's murder.

The soundtrack is even better than the movie itself.

Angela: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Synopsis: A newly engaged couple have a breakdown in an isolated area and must pay a call to the bizarre residence of Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

I watch this every year on Halloween without fail. It's my favorite fall tradition!

KT: The Exorcist

Synopsis: When a girl is possessed by a mysterious entity, her mother seeks the help of two priests to save her daughter.

This movie scared the sh*t out of me as a kid... and still does. Yikes!

Lissa: Clue & Hocus Pocus

Clue Synopsis: Six guests are invited to a strange house and must cooperate with the staff to solve a murder mystery.

I love how goofy and theatrical the actors are in this movie. It's a classic! You can't not love it.

Hocus Pocus Synopsis: After three centuries, three witch sisters are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.

This is the ultimate classic Halloween movie—you can't argue me on that.

Mark: E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

Synopsis: A troubled child summons the courage to help a friendly alien escape Earth and return to his home world.

E.T. was the first movie I ever saw in the theater. Scarred for life.

Nat: Beetlejuice

Synopsis: When a recently-deceased ghost couple finds their now-vacant home invaded by an obnoxious family, they hire a sleazy ghost who gets rid of humans to help them.

Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!

Rob: Halloween

Synopsis: Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield to kill again.

Let's be real, Michael Myers was SIIIIICK.

Troy: America's Most Haunted & Ghostbusters

America's Most Haunted Synopsis: The crew of a popular ghost hunting show gets more than they bargained for when they come across a location that's actually haunted.

This movie was filmed in GR, by GR folks. It's funny! And scary! And GR. Check it out here.

Ghostbusters Synopsis: Three former parapsychology professors set up shop as a unique ghost removal service.

Who ya gonna call?.... TIS ; )
