Looking Forward: 2010 at The Image Shoppe

Over the past year, we have discussed some of the changing trends in marketing communications. All the buzz about social media has turned into action, for example:

  • facebook is now showing over 350 million users worldwide (link)
  • Twitter is posting massive gains in site visits (from January 2009 to December 2009 visitors per month went from less than 10 million to over 60 million)
We are clearly seeing real changes to the way we communicate today. (link)

When you add this to the estimated 1.2 - 1.3 billion e-mail users worldwide, we have to begin to evaluate how we use the internet to gain customers. Many business owners believe that using the web is “free.” Hardly. In order to market your company well on the web, it takes knowledge and time – and we all know time is money. We can help you best determine how to use the web and social media to gain the optimum advantage for your business.

We have spent a lot of time over the past year mastering the web toolkit including: facebook, twitter, our e-mail program – E-RPM, our website design and development process, as well as creating a more streamlined creative process. That doesn’t mean that we stop using traditional media to communicate with our customers. On the contrary, there is a time and place for both and as always, the ideal mix is important.

In the coming weeks, we will be launching a new ticketing system for clients that will allow us to better monitor your requests and needs. We will also launch our own active twitter and facebook presence in the first quarter of 2010.

Stay tuned, this year we are going to take you with us when we see cool, new ways to promote your business, as well as showing you what our clients and vendors have to offer. For those of you already with us, thank you! We really appreciate your business and we will continue to work with you to achieve your marketing goals and objectives.

For those of you who are not currently working with us actively (or at all) we would love the opportunity to show you what we can do for your company. If you have needs in the following areas, let us write a proposal:
