My career has spanned a variety of industries over the years—both in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. As a former business owner and consultant with a focus on the environment, marketing, branding and project management, I have acquired savvy skills in the organization and development of both departments and businesses, helping them implement new practices and procedures. Having been a small business owner allows me to see a project from start to finish with a unique perspective and attention to detail. Guiding people to live more sustainably and helping small businesses thrive are what motivates me in the work that I do.
The best advice I’ve even been given is that no one else knows what they’re doing either. The best thing you can do is trust your heart, your gut and your intuition.
The right amount of structure can turn a great team into an exceptional one. Communication, listening and setting expectations early on is the key to success.
