This is applicable to family, friends, significant others, and even your relationship with your work. As a business owner, the relationship you have with your company is that much more personable—in many ways, it is part of you to the core. Change is in the air Ever since Rob, Troy and I became business partners in 2003 with the official inception of The Image Shoppe, our brand served us, our employees and our clients well. We've made some adjustments to TIS's look and feel over the last decade or so, but nothing drastic ever felt totally necessary, until now. Over the last 13 years, we've grown a lot and learned even more—especially over the last few years. In that time, we've implemented a leadership structure and evolved processes for digital, customer experience (CX), and brand development that have brought great success for our clients. We've also experienced growth in our client base across many different industries, like commercial real estate, government, financial, insurance, manufacturing, and more. With all of these changes, the need for a TIS rebrand was very obvious. It was clear that our visual identity no longer aligned with the growth and maturity in the market, which is why we're so excited to finally launch the months of hard work we've put into this facelift for TIS! TIS has rebranded! We are excited to announce our official TIS rebrand! This includes a visual overhaul designed with the company's growth in mind as well as some updates in our messaging and positioning. Check out the breakdown of the updates we made: Messaging & Positioning: We put the TIS crew through the ringer with our tried-and-true positioning and messaging exercises, just as we would with our clients. The most important piece we gained from these extremely insightful exercises is our new tagline—Brand Marketing Ally. The term "Brand Marketing Ally" describes a company that's inspired to be a lifelong partner for our clients, community, and planet, and was inspired by becoming a certified B Corporation in April 2016. You will see Brand Marketing Ally on our business cards, website, and other branded materials going forward. Logo: The logo is the first and most noticeable change of the TIS rebrand. When designing our updated logo, we wanted to ensure our approachability as individuals and as a company was clear upon first glance, but still wanted to retain some elements of the previous brand. The use of a serif font and playful color palette are a nod to our former logo, while the new brand mark and font are more modernized and simplified. In order to keep the logo approachable and laid back, we incorporated the concept of people in the ‘t’ and ‘i’ to communicate our relationship as allies for our clients, planet, and community. As you can see above, the updated font says we’re serious and professional, yet the smirk acknowledges our easy-going approach and says that we like to have fun, which is the perfect representation of who we are as individuals and a team. We're so pleased with how it turned out!
